Alice has always stated that he knows two things really well - music and golf. Our golf tournaments had been so well received we thought it was time to do something that exploited the one thing Alice knows better than golf - Music!
Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding was started back in 2001 with a two-fold purpose. First, we wanted an additional way to raise money for teens while providing a unique and different venue - something different from anything else in town.
Alice came up with the idea of a variety show - a little of this and a little of that-a pudding, if you will. Thus the Christmas Pudding. The idea was to provide entertainment that the whole family could enjoy. Some music, comedy, dancing and unique performances all make the Pudding an experience reminiscent of the Ed Sullivan show.
Originally, staged at the Celebrity Theater, the Pudding was supposed to have a feel like you just stopped by the Cooper's home to visit with Alice and Sheryl and a few of their friends who stopped by for the holidays like - Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw, Don Felder, Glen Campbell, Sinbad, etc. etc. etc.
Each Pudding is a collection of friends of Alice who donate their time and talent in order to help Solid Rock obtain their goal of "...making an everlasting difference in the lives of a children and teenagers..." that you will never see all together on stage again. The experience is a once in a life time event.
